"I notice the subtle shifts."
I notice and feel the subtle. It is one of my strengths as a highly sensitive person. I don’t need brute force to pay attention, to wake up.
I notice subtle shifts in my body, energy, emotions and moods. When symptoms or an emotion persist for more than a few days, I am aware of it.
I pause, spend time with myself and I ask:
What is the message here?
What is needed?
What or who has thrown me off?
What’s coming up for healing?
Is there any action required?
Is this even mine?
Noticing and feeling subtle energy changes is an ability I have as a highly sensitive person. I may be thrown off my center easier than some other people, but I am restored quickly too.
I don’t wait for a symptom to get chronic, or for pain to be unbearable, or a bad mood to tighten its grip on me and sink me down. There’s no need because I know when I’m off, even if only slightly. I know when I’m no longer aligned with myself and my greatest good. I know when I’m spinning off my axis. Again, the knowing of this is one of my qualities as a highly sensitive person. I notice these things as I notice a shift in the breeze around me, a change in the energy of a room, or someone acting differently.
And if I need help restoring myself, then by all means, I get it whether that’s acupuncture, remedies, a good night's sleep, therapy or a peaceful afternoon in the forest.
Thank you for reading.
With love,
Maryse
